Stock Alerts
Auction Manager has an advanced 'Smart' stock alert system to ensure you know when to order more stock. The system uses the Current Stock Count, Minimum Stock Count and Lead Time values from each Part as well as the recent sale history to determine when you need to reorder. It works as follows:
Calculation:
The average weekly sale count (SWEEK) for the part is calculated based on the 3 Month Sales, 612 Month Sales and 12 Month Sales columns in the Stock Table, which are a guide to the recent sale history for each part. This weekly sale count is then multiplied by the Lead Time (TLEAD) for the part, to determine how many parts would typically be sold in the time between reordering, and receiving the Stock.
If this value is less than the difference between the Current Stock Count (SCOUNT) and the Minimum Operating Count (SMIN), then the part needs to be reordered.

Items that need to be reordered are added to the Stock Alert Table on the Dashboard page. From this table, you can right click with your mouse to easily create a Purchase Order of all parts that need to be ordered from a particular Supplier.
