Shipping Methods

The list of the Shipping Methods shown are available to select as the Shipping Method when a Sale is created or edited. Add or Remove Shipping Methods using the buttons to the right of the list.

Label: Here you can set or change the label that is displayed for the selected Shipping Method.

Default Shipping Method: When enabled, the selected Shipping Method is set as the default (The Shipping Method that is selected automatically for new Sales). When changing between selections in the Shipping Methods list, this option will change to reflect the currently selected default Shipping Method.  

Email Template: An Email Template can be selected to be assigned to each Shipping Method. When the Shipping Email button is pressed, or if the Automatically send Shipping Emails option is enabled, the email is sent from the selected Email Template.

Tracking URL: The URL for the web page to track parcels for the current Shipping
Method. This URL is also used for searching for the Delivered Search Term.

Delivered Search Term: When the Automatically Complete Sales option is enabled under the Sales page, Auction Manager will search for this string of text within the page described by the Tracking URL to identify the delivery of the parcel. Enter the term that denotes the delivery of the parcel here.

Tracking Number Prefix: Shipping Methods that have tracking numbers often have different set of characters at the beginning to distinguish them apart from other courier companies. Enter in the first few characters here that are unique to the current Shipping Method. When a tracking number is entered for a Sale, the prefix is compared and a warning is given if the tracking number matches a Shipping Method other than the one selected in the Sale.

Webshop Search Text: Enter the text that matches the selected shipping method to
the required shipping module name in your Webshop setup. This option does not apply if the Webshop feature is disabled.

MYOB "Ship Via" Field: Enter the value that will be entered in the MYOB 'Ship Via'
field when a sale with this shipping method is exported to MYOB.
