Sales

The Sales page is where an operator typically spends most time. Select a sale in the list to view common sale information in the Sidebar, or double click the sale to open it for editing in the Edit Sale window.

Sales Table

The Sales table can be customized using the 'more filter options' to show only a selection of sales. This allows completed sales to disappear and only important sales such as sales pending payment or shipping, or sales flagged to remain listed.
Additionally, the Filter can be used to quickly search the sales that pass the 'more filter options'. For example, enter a customer reference, name or email address to quickly find their sale(s).

Flagged Sales

Sales can be flagged for following up at a later date. This is an important productivity feature allowing the user to easily view sales that require action. To flag a sale, either right click on the sales table and select 'Flag for followup' for the selected sale, or click the flag in the Sale Sidebar or Edit Sale window.

Sale Sidebar

On the right hand side of the Sales page is the Sale Sidebar. This shows a summary of information for the currently selected sale, and allows common operations to be performed, such as viewing/editing the Customer Card, send an email, edit status and notes etc.

Shipping a Sale

Auction Manager has been designed for ease of use, and so many time saving features are implemented. Such as when a sale is being shipped out, only a few mouse clicks are required to update the sale with the tracking number and email the customer. Once Email Templates and Shipping Methods are setup, simply click the Shipping Email button. Auction Manager will automatically detect that a tracking number is required and will prompt you for it, as well as asking to change the sale status to Shipped.

GoTo Buttons

The Sale GoTo buttons along the top of the main window allow you to quickly jump to relevant information.

Cards - Jump to the Customer Card that is selected for the currently selected sale(s).
Trade Me - View the sold listing that the sale was created from. This is only enabled if the selected sale was created from a Trade Me listing.
Webshop - Jump to the Webshop Order that the sale was created from. This is only enabled if the selected sale was created from a Webshop Order.
Stock - View all stock items that are added to the selected sale(s).
