Email Templates

Email Template Display Box: Displays the email templates available.

Label: Displays the label of the email template - editing of the email template label can be done here.

Add and remove buttons: Click on 'Add' to add another email template. 'Remove' will delete the email template highlighted in the email template display box.

Name: Enter a conditional statement using macros to determine the name to be entered in the email. For example:
[IF [CardFirstName] THEN "[CardFirstName] [CardLastName]" ELSE [CardAlias]]
In this case, if the card has a first name entered then the first name and last name (if there is one) on the card will be entered, or else the alias will be entered.

Subject: Enter a conditional statement using macros to determine the subject to be entered in the email.

Body of Email edit box: Enter the text for your email here.

'To' Preview: Displays the name and email address of the recipient.

'Subject' Preview: Displays the subject of the email - this is produced using the conditional statement entered in the subject box as described above.

Body of Email Preview: This bottom box displays a preview of the body of the email.
